Saqqar / Drone Engineering & Aviation

Build it. Test it.
Take flight.

Saqqar is Hudhud’s Drone Engineering and Aviation curriculum. Pupils connect design, coding and engineering through making, simulation and supervised flight, with safety and responsibility throughout.

What pupils actually do

Prepare first.
Then take flight.

Saqqar builds practical ability in stages, with simulation before live flying.

Ground and simulator

Plan a safe route.

Pupils practise control and route decisions in simulation. They can explain the checks they would make before a supervised flight.

Build and fly

Make, code, test.

As they advance, pupils code flight scripts, fabricate a component and test how the aircraft behaves under supervision.

How learning progresses

From first controls
to a defended design.

Engineering, piloting and responsibility develop together. Older pupils bring coding, avionics, risk assessment and compliance into a final Build, Fly and Defend project.

They can demonstrate a tested aircraft and explain the choices behind its design and flight to a panel.
